What is the Application of microwave vacuum drying equipment?

Microwave vacuum drying equipment series is a new technology and new process developed on the basis of the deep study of the physical changes in the drying process of the product, the inside and outside thermal mass exchanging and the moisture migration process ,the drying temperature and drying moisture under vacuum conditions.Microwave vacuum drying equipment consists of microwave generator, vacuum drying chamber, vacuum series and PLC automatic control system. It combines the advantages of microwave and vacuum drying ,such as :the efficiency high, the quality well, the processing costs low and the processing cycle short etc.Meanwhile, it overcomes the defect of the conventional vacuum drying equipment , such as :the processing cycle long, the efficiency low . PLC control technology reduces loss caused by the human error,improve the stability of product quality and speed up the process to achieve industrialization for enterprises .

What is the main features of micorwave vacuum drying equipment?

1.Low-temperature and high-efficiency: As is well known,If the pressure reduces, the boiling point of water will decrease.Under an atmospheric pressure(101.3kpa ),the boiling point of water is 100 ℃, if under the 0.073 atmospheric pressure(7.37kpa) the boiling point of water will decrease to 40 ℃. under the vacuum condition, heating objects can evaporate the inside water without heating. When microwave vacuum dries heat-sensitive substances, the drying rate is much higher than the conventional dry, the ratio is generally more than a dozen or even dozens.

2.Heating evenly and thoroughly: the higher the moisture content is, the more microwave the products absorbed ,the larger energy the product generats . if the moisture content is lower, the condition is on the contray.Meanwhile, due to the inside and outside of the product is heated simultaneously, no inertia residued, no heat transfer loss, so the drying speed is rapaid.Microwave can penetrate the products directly, intensify water molecules and generate heat. the internal temperature is slightly higher than the external temperature, so that the temperature gradient can be avoided and eliminates the condition of outside dry but inside wet.

3.Control simply:owing the microwave power can be adjusted rapidly and has no inertial residue, combined with the PLC automatical control system, you can ajust and confirm the process parameter in time.

4.Improve quality:Drying products in a low-temperature, oxygen-free environment is more certainly to ensure products quality.

5.Keep the primary color:Owing the microwave drying time is short, it solved the problem of the conventional drying :such as the drying time long and the product color changed due to the moisture high. Especially for valuable medicinal herbs ,Chinese medicine extract and seafood ,it is a kind of ideal drying methods. Such as :cordyceps sinensis, ginseng, extractum ,sea cucumber, etc.

6.Energy conservation and environmental protection:compared with the conventional electrical drying methods, microwave drying can save power by 50%.The equipment adopts microwave radiative transfer energy, which is the whole heating of the medium, without the need of other heat transfer media, so that can avoid the defect of heat conduction slow in vacuum conditions.Therefore, the speed is rapid, the efficiency is high, the drying cycle is greatly shortened, and the energy consumption is greatly reduced too. Owing there is no noise, no toxic gas and toxic liquid emissions, it is an environmental drying technology.
