trimmings to remove most of the fish oil and water, and then ground. What

remains is the "fishmeal".

Twin Screw Press

The twin screw press consists of two counter rotating screws with conical shaft so that available volume between screws and the casing is gradually reduced. The casing is perforated so that is squeezed out, and the press cake is dropped or conveyed directly into the drier.
