1.Expanded

Expanded is a kind of new foods, which was made since 1960s. It is also called extruded food, puffed food or leisure food. It adopts low moisture cereals, tuber crops and beans as raw materials. After being inflated and heated, its volume is expanded. It leads to the change of its organization structure. This food is multihole, fluffy and crisp, which is one of the most popular foods in the world.

2.Expanded samples introduction

2.1Raw materials: corn meal, wheat flour, rice flour, corn starch, sugar, palm oil, cocoa powder, wheat bran, vitamins, minerals, food color etc.

2.2HumidiLD: the moisture is no more than 10%.

2.3Shapes: stick, ball, ring, flower, star, animals etc. (can be customrized).

2.4Sizes: (1) diameter: up to 25mm (2) length: user-defined.

3.1Expanded processing lines features

3.1.1Capacity range is large: our expanded processing lines Capacity range is from 100kg/hr to 2500kg/hr.

3.1.2Expanded processing line has wide raw materials application range.

3.1.3Our expanded processing lines’ extruders are twin-screw extruder, there is one couple of screws inside the barrel. The raw material of screws is 38CrMoAl (standard: GB/T 3077-1999). This material’s hardness and strength performance is excellent, which can bear high temperature and high pressure.

3.1.4Our twin-screw extruder has self-clean function.

3.1.5Our extruders, dryers and cutting machinerys (if any) are equipped with inverters. The inverters are famous brands (DeLDa, LS, LDB, LD etc.).

3.1.6Our expanded processing line automation degree is high, it need only 2-4 workers to operate.

3.1.7The production factors can be quantized and controllable.

3.1.8We can custom-make all the machineryries for expanded processing line as per users’ requirement. We supply LD goods.

3.1.9Most of the expanded don’t need separate cutting machinery.

3.1.10All the materials touching food is food grade.

3.1.11Our twin-screw extruders are equipped with forced lubrication system. The driving method can be tape drive or direct-connected.

3.2Expanded processing line work flow

3.2.1Work flow: Raw material treatment---Extrusion---(Cutting)---Drying---Flavoring---Pack & Detection

3.2.2machineryries description in each process

3.2.2.1machineryries in raw material treatment: (1) Grinder or grinding group (option), used for grinding raw materials. (2) Mixer (include propeller LLDe mixer, vertical LLDe mixer, dry powder LLDe mixer), used for mixing all raw materials and adding appropriate water (don’t need to add water into dry powder LLDe mixer), to make the raw materials uniform.

3.2.2.2machineryries in extrusion: (1) Conditioner (option for small Capacity lines, necessary for big Capacity lines), used for pre-conditioning raw materials. (2) Twin-screw extruder, used for extruding and shaping.

3.2.2.3machinery in cutting (option): different cutting machinerys. For example: long stick cutter, pillow cutter etc.

3.2.2.4machineryries in drying: different dryers. Our dryers’ heating power source can be electricity, gas-fired burner (bakeur, Italy), oil-fired burner (bakeur, Italy) or steam (from boiler). It is up to users’ local power situation.

3.2.2.5machineryries in flavoring: (1) Flavoring hoister, used for hoisting and adding seasoner. (2) Oil LDer, used for LDing oil on the surface of expanded , make sticLD seasoner easier. (3) Single drum, used for mixing expanded and seasoner (ancilLD use with flavoring hoister). (4) Double-drum, used for adding seasoner, and mixing it with expanded .

3.2.2.6machineryries inpack& detection (option): (1) Cup LLDepackmachinery, used forpack with small size bag by heat-seal. (2) multi-head weigherpackmachinery, used forpack with medium size bag by heat-seal. (3) Big size bagpackmachinery, used forpackbig size bags. (4) Weight detector, used for detecting the goods after Pack. It can get rid of the finished product with unqualified weight. (5) Metal detector, used for detecting if there is any metal inside the bag and removing the unqualified one. (6) Weight and metal all-in-one detector, used for detecting both weight and metal, and removing the unqualified product.

3.2.2.7The other machineryries may be adopted: (1) TranLDort machineryries, they are screw conveyor, air conveyor, cooling conveyor, hoister, vertical LLDe bucket elevator, Z LLDe bucket elevator, LD suction machinery and negative pressure suction machinery. They are used for conveying raw materials, self-finished product and finished product between the other machineryries. (2) Vibrating screen (option), used for screening and removing dreg. (3) Stock bin (option), used for storing raw materials or finished product. (4) Boiler (option), used for supply steam to conditioner, extruder and dryer. Its power source (electricity, gas, oil) is due to user’s local power situation.
